I can’t stop thinking about the discovery of Michelle Stroud’s body in that old refrigerator. It's chilling to think how someone could show such disregard for another human being, especially someone they once claimed to love. This hits home the terrifying reality of domestic violence. The community came together so quickly, searching alongside her loved ones, which speaks volumes about the solidarity and compassion the locals have. Though it can’t change the past, the support shown has been touching. My heart is with her family, and I hope Roger Stroud’s sentencing gives them some degree of solace amid their loss.
