Hi everyone,
I stumbled upon the case of Eric Wade Bias, Sr. while reading through past obituaries and noticed something interesting that might not have been fully explored. It seems that the community was deeply affected by his passing. Eric was described as a loving figure in the local scene, and his absence must have left a significant void for those who knew him. Does anyone know if there were any local support events or gatherings in his honor after his passing? It's often the community's response that helps us understand just how deeply someone was loved and appreciated. It would be heartening to hear how his friends and family have been coping and if there were any stories shared about his life that could provide some comfort. Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been delving into the story of Eric Wade Bias, Sr., and something about the community's reaction to his passing really struck me. It's clear that he was a well-loved figure in Huntington, WV. From what I've gathered, he was the kind of person who left a lasting impact on everyone he met—whether it was through work, friendships, or just being a supportive presence in the neighborhood.
It got me thinking about how communities cope with the loss of someone significant and how these types of deaths can leave a whole community mourning, even if there were no suspicious circumstances. The outpouring of love and support at his funeral speaks volumes about the kind of life he led and the people he touched.
I wanted to see if anyone here has any stories or memories of Eric they could share? It would be a comfort to hear about the moments that made him special and how he's remembered by those who knew him best.
Sending love and strength to all affected,
Sarah
