It's so devastating to read about all the young lives lost to senseless violence. I can't stop thinking about Michael Pugh’s family and what they must be going through right now. Their world must have turned upside down losing someone they love in such a shocking way. I read that a suspect has been charged, which gives some hope that justice might be served. But it still doesn’t change what happened or heal the pain his family is undoubtedly feeling. This kind of violence has ripple effects and leaves a community grieving. I wish we could do more to prevent such tragedies from happening. Does anyone know if there's been any talk around town about possibly organizing some kind of memorial or community event to honor Michael’s memory?
