Does anyone else find it chilling how Brian Willis and his accomplices orchestrated this crime over weeks? Just thinking about the fact that they were going about their lives, planning this horrific act, while Stephanie and Steven were totally unaware, really strikes a nerve with me. It's shocking and deeply unsettling. From what I've learned, Stephanie was a beloved friend and daughter; she didn’t deserve this. I read that she was known for her warm smile and her kindness to everyone she met. My heart goes out to her family, who must have been devastated when they learned about the arson intended to cover everything up. I'm glad that the investigation led to Willis's conviction, but part of me wonders how many red flags might have been missed along the way. What do you all think about cases like this where things seem premeditated for such a long time? How can we recognize and maybe prevent these plots before they unfold?
