I was recently reading up on Sheena Shakia Horne’s case, and something that really caught my attention is how little we know about her life and the person she was before this tragedy. I think it’s important to focus on remembering Sheena for who she was and her story before it was cut short by violence. From what I've gathered, Sheena was known to be a kind-hearted individual, and her loss has obviously left a massive void in her family and community. Harper Heights might be a small place, but that doesn’t make the ripples of pain any less significant. It’s just mind-boggling how someone can vanish from this world without justice or answers. If anyone has memories or stories about Sheena to share, it could be a great way to keep her memory alive and perhaps bring some much-needed attention back to the case. I really hope that one day her family receives the answers they deserve.
