I came across a detail in Nakeia's case that hasn’t been discussed much. On the morning her body was found, neighbors reported hearing what they thought was a heated argument coming from her home the night before. It makes me wonder if there were any prior disturbances like this that might have gone unreported? It seems so important for communities to feel comfortable enough to report domestic issues they might overhear, even if it's just to ensure everyone is safe. My heart really goes out to Nakeia’s family as they try to make sense of everything. I hope her story helps raise awareness about the significance of being attentive and supportive neighbors.
