I can't stop thinking about the impact on Richard Thrasher's family as they try to navigate life without him. Losing someone in such an unexpected and violent manner is a gut-wrenching ordeal. I remember reading that 2016 was just a terrible year for violent crime in Chicago, and Richard’s case is a stark reminder of how deeply these incidents affect real people and communities. It’s more than just a statistic—these are real lives, ripped apart. With the number of shootings that year, it's sad to think of all the families like Richard's trying to find answers and justice in a system that often struggles with unsolved cases. It's crucial for us to remember the human side of these stories, beyond all the headlines and numbers. Thinking of Richard’s loved ones today and hoping they find strength and support from those around them. Would be great to hear about any progress in these cases or efforts to improve safety measures in those affected areas.
