I’ve been following this case for a while and it just seems so surreal to me. I can't help but think about Mitchell Clay Smith’s family and friends going through this nightmare. Drug deals are always risky, but the thought that it ended his life in such a violent way is just beyond tragic. It's such a stark reminder of how unpredictable and dangerous the world can be. And now, knowing that those he was with might not have had his best interests at heart makes it even harder to digest. I really hope the trial brings some kind of justice and closure. It must be incredibly difficult for the family knowing all the details surrounding his murder. If it wasn’t already hard enough, waiting for the legal proceedings to start and dragging on can really delay any healing process. Does anyone know more about how the legal part is progressing?
