Seeing the news about Tremaine Lamar Jackson's trial and verdict really got me thinking about how often these drug-related confrontations escalate to violence. While it's good to see law enforcement acted swiftly in this case, it’s deeply unsettling knowing that a simple transaction can turn fatal so quickly. My heart truly goes out to Troy Williams’ loved ones who have to live with this loss. It's frightening how a single decision or interaction can have such devastating impacts. I hope that others in the community are inspired to work towards addressing the root causes of these conflicts and find ways to prevent more tragedies like this one in Beckley. Stay strong, everyone. ?
