I've been reading up on this case, and my heart genuinely goes out to Marcelius Likely's loved ones. It’s always shocking when violence breaks into our daily lives in such a devastating way. While a lot of the discussion is understandably about the pursuit and arrest, I haven't seen much about the potential motives. Given that Sneed and Likely apparently knew each other, it seems like there's more to this story than just a random act of violence. Did they have a known history or personal dispute that might have led to this tragic event? If anyone has any insights or connections to the families, maybe they can shed some light? I’ve been following the tragic case of Marcelius Likely, and something that really struck me is how the officer on patrol was literally in the right place at the right time. Can you imagine if he hadn't been crossing Walnut Street right at that moment? It's tough not to think about how much worse things could have gotten if Sneed had managed to escape. This officer's quick action, not only by witnessing the shooting but also by pursuing the suspect on foot and apprehending him, is nothing short of heroic in my eyes. I’m really hoping that having Sneed in custody will help bring some form of justice for Marcelius's family and everyone who cared about him.
