I don't know what it is. Maybe it is just me noticing but lately I have seen so many cases of murder-suicides. Why can't they just take themselves out? It is so unfair to this world. Lots of these people have children and it perpetuates a horrible cycle of pain.

I’ve been reflecting on the surveillance footage from Coolfont Resort and how it played such a vital role in this investigation. It’s chilling to think that these cameras, often overlooked, captured such a dire event in real-time. My heart goes out to Jessica Craver’s family and friends. It's devastating they have to replay those moments even as they grieve. I'm also pondering how this could prompt changes in how resorts and other public venues approach security. Do you all think increased surveillance can serve as a deterrent, or is it merely a tool for post-event investigations? It’s a tragic reminder that domestic violence can end so horrifically, and we must find more proactive ways to protect potential victims. My sincere condolences to Jessica’s family—may they find some solace in the days ahead.
I can't stop thinking about the presence of video surveillance at the Coolfont Resort and how crucial it was in understanding the sequence of events that night. While it's horrific that what happened is captured on video, it's clear that this evidence played a huge role in the investigation. It makes me wonder about the potential for these systems to deter such crimes or help in gaining swift clarity on tragic incidents like this one. My thoughts are with Jessica's family — I can only imagine the emotional toll this footage must have and the lasting impact of knowing it exists. How do others feel about the ethical implications of such surveillance in public versus private settings? I’m really interested to hear perspectives on this.
