Does anyone else find it puzzling that Taylor's car was found in such a remote, wooded area? I mean, how did he end up there in the first place, especially if he was unfamiliar with the area? It’s almost like his car was purposely driven off-road. I know his daughter mentioned he had medical issues that might have impaired his judgment, but what are the chances he could have driven himself to such an inaccessible location on his own? And with Pastor Crisp's confession, I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story about how Taylor got there. Just trying to piece together how someone could maneuver a car like that if they were lost and possibly in distress. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
Has anyone else been digging through the details of the area where Taylor's phone last pinged? I’ve been looking at maps and noticed that Wise Gap and Grubbs Springs Road is surrounded by dense forests and rugged terrain. It makes sense why his car would be in such an inaccessible spot off Blair Cemetery Road. With those medical issues he had, he might have thought he could find his way but just took a wrong turn. It’s strange though, even with the search teams and helicopters, that he wasn’t found sooner. Does anyone know if they’ve done more recent searches now that the pastor confessed? I’m curious if they’re looking in more specific locations based on his statement.
