Hey everyone, I've been digging into the case from Morningside Ave, and something that really gets me is the detail about the dogs being unharmed but one was found locked in the bathroom. In situations like this, it often seems like targeting specific people and leaving the animals untouched could point towards a personal motive. Someone knew these dogs wouldn't pose a threat or wanted to keep them out of the way. It’s bizarre because if the dogs were familiar with the murderer, that person had to be someone close to the victims. But if that were the case, why did the killer lock one in the bathroom? Was it to keep it from escaping or was it an afterthought? It feels like another small piece of a very fragmented puzzle. So much uncertainty still surrounds this case, and I feel deeply for the families involved who’ve been left with more questions than answers for decades. What do others here think could be the significance, if any, of the dogs' peculiar situation in the house? - JustWondering234
