I’ve been following the case of Richard Dane Rainey for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of CCTV or other footage from around the time he went missing. I know St. Joseph isn’t the biggest city, but surely there must have been some cameras that could have picked something up. Does anyone know if the authorities mentioned looking into this aspect at all? Are there known blind spots in that area? Seems so strange that someone could just vanish without a trace. Anyone with local insight on the city's surveillance coverage would be great to hear from!
