I've been thinking a lot about the role played by the informant who helped authorities finally locate the victims' bodies. It's chilling to realize that it took someone deceiving Johnson into drawing that map for justice to be served for Amber, Kandi, and the others. We often hear about informants in these types of cases, but this time, it was a pivotal moment that cracked the case open after so many years. It’s haunting to imagine how scared they might have been and how long their families waited for answers. While nothing can bring Amber and her family back, I hope this served as some closure for those who lost so much. It's so tough to fathom that the simple act of drawing a map led to unraveling such a dark mystery. I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts on the ethical implications of using jailhouse informants like this in investigations.
