Has anyone else been following the Sara Ann Harvey case and the involvement of Dustin Steinstra? I can’t stop thinking about the fact that Steinstra knew of Turpin's plans and didn’t say anything to protect Sara. It's tough to wrap my head around how someone could hear about such an awful plot and not immediately reach out for help. It makes me wonder what might have gone through Steinstra’s mind at the time and whether he ever considered the potential consequences. This case is a chilling reminder of the critical importance of taking threats seriously, especially when someone’s life could be at risk. It's just so sad to think that maybe this tragedy could have been averted if someone had reported Turpin's intentions. My heart goes out to Sara’s family, who must be dealing with unimaginable pain. The broader question that weighs on me is, how can we as a society improve when it comes to recognizing warning signs and stepping up to intervene?
