Hey everyone, I came across the case of Shani Kathleen Gonzalez Smith recently, and it's been stuck in my mind. It’s tough not knowing more about what really happened that day in Dubuque back in 2011. I was thinking about her family and friends who are still left with so many questions and not enough answers. It's unsettling to see that there haven't been any updates about suspects or any legal proceedings. It must be incredibly painful and frustrating for those who loved her not to have any resolution or justice all these years later. Does anyone here have more insight into whether the police have shared anything new with the family, or if there’s been any community action to keep her memory alive? I really hope something turns up that can finally bring some closure to this case. Shani deserves justice, and her family deserves peace.
