I'm just sitting here, struggling to grasp the sheer tragedy of what happened to Thomas Bortvit. My heart goes out to his family and friends, especially knowing how deeply loved he was in his community. One aspect of this case that's been lingering in my mind is how calculated some of Christensen's actions appear. The fact that he put the ground beef in the freezer and went about his evening, knowing what had transpired, is chilling. It makes me wonder how a person can proceed with such normalcy after something so heinous. Also, the detail about Christensen's father participating in the search for Thomas without knowing his son's role in his disappearance is just so saddening. How do you ever reconcile something like that? It's just an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved. Anyone else think it boggles the mind how someone can live with such a heavy secret even for just a short amount of time? Let's keep supporting each other and Thomas's loved ones through this difficult time.
