I've been following Peter Farrell's case, and something that puzzles me is the lack of sightings by other vessels. The *Tally Ho* is quite distinctive with its dark blue hull and red sails, and in such a busy maritime area, you'd think someone would have spotted it. Even if Peter had deviated from his planned route, it seems odd that there haven’t been any credible reports from other sailors or ships passing through those waters. What complicates this, in my opinion, is the absence of satellite communication on the boat. With the technology available today, just having a basic satellite phone or beacon could have made a huge difference in the search efforts. It makes me wonder why someone as experienced as Peter wouldn't have one, especially on such a long journey. Curious if anyone else here who’s into sailing has thoughts on communication gear necessities for trips like these?

Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Peter Farrell's *Tally Ho* didn’t have a satellite communication device onboard? Given his experience as a sailor, you’d think he’d prioritize that, especially since he was crossing such large distances. Does anyone think it might be possible that he had some reason for not wanting to be easily tracked? Maybe he had plans to go off the grid for some reason? It just seems like such an avoidable risk. What are your thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following the Peter Farrell case and noticed something interesting that hasn't gotten much discussion. It seems like his sailboat, the *Tally Ho*, was apparently a unique sight with its dark blue color and red sails. I'm wondering if this could have potentially drawn more attention along his route? Maybe someone out there spotted it and dismissed it as just another boat passing through. I've read a bit about maritime mysteries and sometimes vessels appear in unexpected places much later, possibly having drifted off course. Could the boat itself provide clues we've overlooked? Even the paint job color could have an impact if it's a more commonly recognizable color in certain areas. Does anyone more familiar with this area have thoughts on where that unique combination might be particularly memorable to the locals or other sailors? It's such a damn frustrating mystery, hoping we can all brainstorm some anchor points to focus the search.
