I'm really hoping that justice can finally be served for Michael Preston Bown and the female clerk. It's been way too long, and their families have had to live with this awful mystery hanging over them. I can't imagine the pain of not knowing who was responsible for such a senseless act. I was reading an article about the case and something that got me thinking was the location. Natters’ Market was in a fairly busy part of Salt Lake City, even back in 1971. Surely someone must have seen something that day, right? I wonder if with advances in technology, like facial recognition or enhanced forensic techniques, there's anything more that can be done to analyze the scene, even from old photos or evidence that was collected. It might be a long shot, but maybe there's new hope. My thoughts are with the families and all those who remember that tragic day. If anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please reach out to the authorities.
