I'm deeply disturbed by the legal system's failure to protect Memorez and little Jase. The fact that Memorez reported her fears and yet couldn't secure a protective order is just mind-boggling. It's a harsh reminder of the limitations within our legal systems when it comes to non-cohabitating partners. How many more lives have to be cut short for significant change to happen? Having seen too many similar stories, it's clear we desperately need robust laws that prioritize the safety of victims. Lawmakers owe it to the Rackley family and every other family touched by such senseless violence to push these legislative changes through. My heart goes out to Myles and the entire Rackley family—hoping for healing and justice.
