I've been following the case of Jawnie Lynn Wey, and something that stood out to me was the unsettling involvement of her 13-year-old daughter in the middle of such a terrifying ordeal. I can’t imagine the trauma she must be experiencing, losing her mom in such a sudden and violent way. I hope she's surrounded by a strong support system. It seems so senseless that a dispute over a pet could escalate to such tragic violence. For her daughter to have been sitting right next to her on the day of the shooting is beyond comprehension. As this case continues, I hope justice is served, and the family, especially her daughter, finds some form of peace. Sending my heartfelt thoughts to all who knew and loved Jawnie.
