Has anyone been to one of the vigils held for Jonathan "Miami" Buie? I've been following the case closely, and it's just terrible how his life was taken so senselessly. Heard there was a gathering at Larkin Sunset Gardens, and I'm hoping the community showed up to support his family. Losing someone in such a violent way is unimaginable, and I hope his loved ones felt surrounded by caring people. If anyone attended, I'd love to hear more about how Jonathan was honored and remembered by those who knew him best. It's important that we keep his memory alive and continue to demand justice on his behalf.

Has anyone heard anything more about the witness who took that photo of Akridge's license plate? I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been to follow a suspect after such a violent incident, but their bravery seems to have been crucial in getting a quick lead on Akridge. It’s amazing how a single person stepping up can really help in these situations. I hope they’re doing okay after all of this. It's such a senseless tragedy for Jonathan and his family, but maybe knowing there are people willing to help can offer some small comfort.
