I can’t stop thinking about the tragic situation with Teresa Marie Alires. It’s just such a difficult thing to wrap your head around. I find it so unsettling how personal and tangled these situations can get. Imagine the sheer panic and confusion that must have been present during those final moments at the Tru by Hilton. This wasn’t just a random encounter; these were people who knew each other. I keep wondering what could have been done differently that night—or even earlier—to prevent such violence. It seems so pointless and devastating. Also, considering how drugs can pull people into such dangerous situations, it makes you think about the deeper issues at play. Addiction is a powerful thing and can blind judgment, which seems to be a big factor in this case too. I wish there could have been some intervention or support for everyone involved before it took such a fatal turn. My heart goes out to Teresa’s family and friends, who are left to pick up the pieces and find some way forward without her.
