I've been thinking a lot about the Walkers lately, especially their involvement with the Clearfield City Citizen's Patrol. It's hard to forget how committed they were to serving their community. For over ten years, Thomas and Janice dedicated so much of their time to making the neighborhood a safer and better place. From chatting with a few locals, it's pretty clear they made quite an impression on a lot of people. It's just such a difficult thing to wrap our heads around—how they could go from such a respected position in the community to this awful tragedy. I suppose it's a reminder of how fragile life can be and how important it is to cherish those who give so much of themselves for the good of others. My thoughts are with their family and everyone else impacted by this tragedy.
