I've been reading a lot about the Donna Lee Bakery murders and I keep coming back to Anne Isabel Kahrmann Dowling. It’s so haunting to think about what her last moments must have been like. She was 57, likely just there to pick up some treats, maybe catch up with friends or family, and then this tragedy happened. The community always talks about how kind and vibrant she was, the type of person who would light up a room. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain her family and friends went through, losing someone so special in such a horrific way. It’s moments like these that make me think about the fleeting nature of life and the importance of cherishing time with loved ones. Has anyone come across any stories or memories shared by Anne’s family or friends over the years? It would be great to honor her memory by remembering the positivity she brought into the world.
