Does anyone else find it deeply disturbing how Richard Reynolds was able to evade authorities after the shooting, even if only briefly? I keep thinking about the short time between the murder and their capture. It shows just how important swift police work is, and kudos to the detectives who managed to locate them so quickly. The fact that Reynolds and Crawford were hiding with the murder weapon and still captured within hours shows impressive coordination by the Waterbury PD. But it makes me worry about the times when things don't end like this. So many questions arise about what might have happened if they hadn’t been found so quickly. It’s unsettling to think about how close they were to potentially getting away, even if for just a little longer, and what that could have meant for their next steps or impact on others. I really admire the determination and quick response from the law enforcement team in bringing some measure of justice for Officer Williams and his family.
