Has anyone been following Rory Don Harvey's case? I noticed it's been over three years, and there's still so little information out there. I dug into NamUs and a few other databases, and it seems like there's almost no community-driven discussions or amateur investigations about it online. For those who are more versed in these types of missing persons cases, is it common for cases to have such little public engagement, or does it make this one unusual in some way? I'm just trying to wrap my head around why there's so little buzz about it, especially since the online true crime community is usually all over these things. Would love to hear thoughts or theories from anyone who has been looking into this one.
Hey everyone, I recently stumbled across Rory Don Harvey’s missing person case, and something that really struck me is how often older adults like Rory seem to vanish without many details surfacing. It's such a quiet demographic compared to cases involving younger people. Just curious if anyone’s noticed if cases like Rory’s get less media attention or urgency? I mean, there are thousands of missing people's reports, but should there be more awareness campaigns specifically highlighting older adults? Having his name out there on NamUs is great, but it makes me wonder how many folks in the community really check those databases. If anyone locally has heard something or has ideas on raising awareness, maybe even just locally in Missouri, please share. Thanks!
