Does anyone here remember the case of Jericho Scott from 2015? I’ve been following his story and wanted to highlight something that really sticks with me: the community support. Despite it being over eight years since that tragic night, it’s heartening to see how Jericho’s family and friends have rallied the community to remember him and speak out against gun violence. I can only imagine the depth of their loss, and it’s incredible how they’ve channeled their grief into advocacy, organizing memorials and marches to keep Jericho’s memory alive. This is more than seeking justice—it's about preventing other families from enduring similar pain. I truly believe that the ongoing support and participation by the local community are essential in both honoring Jericho and urging more people to come forward with information. It’s easy to feel helpless in these situations, especially when there are no arrests, but even just attending a memorial or march keeps the momentum for justice strong. If anyone here happens to have even the tiniest bit of information on that night, I hope you’ll consider coming forward. For Jericho, for his family, and for all victims of senseless violence.

I was reading up on the case of Jericho Scott again today, and something that stands out to me is the resilience of his family. It must be so incredibly difficult to keep fighting for justice day in and day out when there's so little movement in the investigation. It’s clear they’ve been doing everything possible to keep Jericho’s memory alive and to push for justice not just for him but for the broader community impacted by gun violence. The fact that there hasn’t been a suspect identified yet is frustrating, and I think it highlights how vital community involvement is in cases like these. Even the smallest piece of information can make a difference. I'm glad to see many in New Haven are still active in supporting the family through marches and events. It's this kind of solidarity that I hope will eventually lead to a breakthrough. Anyone who knows something—no matter how trivial it might seem—should really consider coming forward. The $50,000 reward is still available, and more importantly, it could help bring peace to a grieving family. Jericho deserves justice, and it’s up to all of us to help make that happen.
