I've been following the case of Antoine "Champ" Heath, and what really stands out to me is how much he was loved by his community. I read that the vigil held on Chapel Street was incredibly moving, with so many people coming together to honor Champ's life. It breaks my heart that such a positive force was taken so suddenly and senselessly. Seeing how the community rallied with candles to light up the night in his memory shows just how big of an impact he had on everyone around him. I hope this brings some comfort to his family and friends knowing he was cherished by so many. If anyone has more info or remembers something from that night, let's help bring justice for Champ and his family. ?️❤️

Has anyone been following the details about the dark-colored sedan seen speeding away from the scene? It's baffling to me how, even with such a noticeable vehicle, no one came forward with more information. I wonder if law enforcement has any leads on where the car went after it left Chapel Street. Maybe there were surveillance or traffic cameras in the area that caught a glimpse of its license plate or direction. It's so distressing to think that Antoine, a person who gave so much to his community and family, had his promising future cut short. Champ deserved much more, and I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family is enduring. If anyone knows more about the car or its movements, I hope they find the courage to speak up. Rest in peace, Champ. You are deeply missed.

I've been following Champ's case since it happened, and I'm struck by how close-knit the New Haven community seems to be. It's incredibly tragic to see such a well-respected person and family man taken away in this manner. One thing that really bothers me is the witness reports about the suspect fleeing towards Edgewood Park. I grew up near New Haven, and I know Edgewood Park can be quite busy, especially in the early evening. It surprises me that there weren't more witnesses, or at least clearer identification of the suspect. From my understanding, the area is also known for having a tight community presence, with people often out for walks or taking their kids to the playground. It makes me wonder if someone saw more than they're admitting—sometimes people are just too scared to come forward. My heart goes out to Shawnte and the children; I can't even begin to imagine what they’re going through. The community's support through the candlelight vigil was a beautiful response to this tragedy. I hope someone finds the courage to share what they know and give this family the justice they deserve.
