I was reading through the case details again, and I just can't wrap my head around how someone like Ulises Robles was free at the time of Luz "Tita" Rosado's murder. It seems so baffling and quite frankly alarming that he had been charged with attempted murder just days before and yet managed to be out on the streets. How does that even happen? It makes me wonder about the gaps in the legal system when it comes to dealing with individuals who pose such a high risk.
My heart goes out to Luz's family, especially her children. Imagining the trauma they're going through is just so, so tough. I hope that they have a strong support system to help them navigate through this devastating loss. It's a real eye-opener and just shows how crucial it is for communities to push for reforms that can help prevent these types of tragedies from occurring. What are your thoughts on what could be done to prevent situations like this from happening in the future?
