Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the lockdowns that happened during the investigation of Alexis Ortiz's murder. It's really unsettling to imagine being a parent or a student at one of those schools or the daycare, being told to stay indoors because of a nearby shooting. I hope those kids and teachers are getting the support they need to process the event. It must have been terrifying and confusing for everyone involved. Does anyone know if there's a community meeting or support group forming for those affected? A situation like this can leave a lasting impact, and the community will really need to come together to help each other through. My heart really goes out to Alexis's family and friends, as well as all the neighbors who experienced this up close. If you’re in the Hartford area and have any information, even if it seems minor, please reach out to the tip line. Every bit helps in getting justice for Alexis. Stay safe, everyone.
