Has anyone else been following the emotional testimonies from the trial? I can't imagine what Heriberto Garcia's family must be going through, listening to all the details of his final moments and having to relive that day over and over. It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone like Daniel Lopez could do something so brutal and senseless. I hope the family can find some peace now that the verdict has been delivered, although I know it won't bring Heriberto back. Justice feels like such a small word in these situations, but I hope it brings some level of closure for those who loved him. What are your thoughts on the potential sentence Lopez might receive? I wonder if it’ll provide any sense of relief or if the void he's left will always be too large to fill.
