I just keep thinking about how Mikie's family and friends must be feeling in the wake of this senseless tragedy. It’s so hard to lose someone who brought so much joy into the lives of everyone he met. His love for family and passion for sports really stood out to me. I can only imagine how difficult it is for his parents, sisters, and his young nieces to process this loss. It’s unsettling to know that someone could do this and walk away, with authorities still not having made an arrest. I’m hoping and praying that the investigation will soon bring the answers and justice Mikie and his family deserve. If anyone knows anything, however small it seems, please come forward. It might be the piece they need to solve this and bring peace to his loved ones.
