I’ve been following Michael Venson’s case since it first hit the news back in 2020. Something that stands out to me is how little information there seems to be about his movements or activities leading up to the day he vanished. I know he was last seen on the 4700 block of West End Avenue, but I’m curious if anyone here knows whether there were any CCTV cameras in the area or if anyone was able to catch even a glimpse of him before everything went silent? It's puzzling how someone can disappear so completely in a busy city like Chicago. I've seen some similar cases where community efforts led to breakthroughs. Let’s hope that digging into this angle might finally bring some new leads. Has anyone heard of any organized searches or places to keep sharing his story? Every bit helps!
Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something that maybe hasn't been discussed as much regarding Michael Venson's disappearance. I’ve been following his case for a while, and it seems like there’s been a lack of coverage outside Chicago. It makes me wonder how often cases like his just vanish from public attention, especially when there's no new info coming out.
Have any of you noticed if the media tends to move on too quickly, or maybe people just lose interest when there's no dramatic development? It feels like these cases should stay in the spotlight longer to keep the pressure on. Michael’s family must be going through a nightmare, and it seems like visibility might help get any potential witnesses to come forward.
If there's anything more we can do to keep the awareness up, I'm all ears. Let's hope for some kind of breakthrough soon. ?
