Has anyone noticed how strange it is that Melissa left behind her phone, ID, and bank cards? It's almost like she wasn't planning on going anywhere long-term or too far. I mean, who leaves without at least a phone these days? It makes me wonder if whoever picked her up knew her well enough that she felt safe leaving her essentials behind. Did she feel she wouldn't need them wherever she was headed? Or maybe there's someone in Philly, Cleveland, or even down in Florida she trusted a lot. But then why the silence afterward? If anyone's familiar with behavior in these types of missing persons cases, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
