Has anyone else looked into the role that Robert Camp, Alfred Camp's father, played during this tragic event? I find it incredibly moving that he stepped up to help Deputy Ryals, knowing the risks involved. It's scary to think how quickly things escalated that day. And while it’s incredibly sad that he lost his son, he himself was also severely injured yet survived. I wonder how he coped with the loss and trauma. He must have been incredibly strong to endure such heartbreak. His bravery and willingness to stand up for what's right, even in the face of danger, shouldn't go unnoticed either. I'm sure both families carry the weight of this tragedy with them even today.
