I came across Antonio Lee's story again recently and can't help but think about the ripple effects it must have had on his family and community. It's infuriating to see how violence continues to claim young lives in Chicago and the emotional toll it takes. I read that Lee was trying to turn his life around, and it's just so unfair that he never got the chance to do so. It makes me wonder how different things might be if there were more resources and support systems in place to help those who want a fresh start. Sending love and strength to his family, who hopefully find some solace in remembering the positive impact he had in his short life. If anyone here is familiar with organizations doing good work to combat this epidemic, I'd love to learn more and see how we can help.
