Has anyone else thought about the impact this had on Detective Willis? I've been thinking about how tough it must have been to lose a partner under such tragic circumstances. Imagine working side by side with someone every day, developing that close bond, and then having them taken away so violently. Detective Booth and Detective Willis knew those kids; they’d probably run into them around town before that night. It's hard not to think about how Willis must relive that evening over and over, questioning everything that happened. I’m sure he carries the weight of that night with him, even long after the case was closed. Sending thoughts to Detective Willis and all of Detective Booth's colleagues who had to move forward while carrying such unimaginable memories.
