Has anyone looked into the community response after Vernon and Veda's tragic deaths? It's hard to imagine the shockwaves that such a senseless act could send through a small town like Magazine. From what I understand, these kinds of events often bring people together, but they can also highlight underlying tensions. I wonder if there were any significant changes in how the town addressed safety or communal support in the aftermath. Were there any memorials or community meetings held to process the grief? Even after all these years, I'd love to hear if there's any record of how the local community came together during such a painful time. Feeling for the family and friends left behind to cope with such profound loss.
