Has anyone else come across the memorial site for Deputy Carlton Phillips? It's a poignant reminder of the risks our law enforcement officers face every day. I can't even begin to imagine what his family went through losing him in such a violent manner. It's clear that Deputy Phillips was dedicated to protecting his community, and his loss has undoubtedly left a lasting void. For those interested, I would recommend visiting the memorial and reading some of the tributes. They offer a touching glimpse into the kind of person he was and the legacy he left behind.
