I came across some information about Tom Altringer, one of the victims of the Grand Central Motel Lodge tragedy, and it really struck me. He was just there doing his job, probably thinking about his next route or maybe his family back home. It's unsettling to think about how life can change in an instant, especially in such a violent way. As a truck driver, Tom was just trying to make a living, like so many of us do. Even though it's been so many years, I think about the families who still grapple with these sudden losses. The pain of having a loved one taken away so brutally never truly fades. It's important to remember their stories and keep sharing them, not only for justice but to honor their memory. Anyone know if Tom's family ever set up a memorial or anything to keep his memory alive?
