Hey everyone, I've been following the Patrick Alan Dickey and Billy Drumm case, and I can't stop thinking about the role David Sams played in unraveling this horrific crime. It's haunting to think he was at the auto shop when the idea to destroy the murder weapons came up. I'm trying to process how someone could be around such a deeply disturbing plan and still have the courage to come forward. His testimony helped bring some justice for Patrick and Billy, and for that, I feel he did the right thing. I can't imagine the weight on his conscience. But it makes me wonder what kind of person he is and how he’s coping with being involved in such a situation, however indirectly. It’s a difficult tightrope to walk. At least some closure was provided to Patrick and Billy’s families, thanks to his testimony. If anyone has more details or thoughts on his involvement, I'd be very interested to hear them.
