I was reading about Ronnie Green's case and couldn't help but feel for his family, especially his brother, Elmer. It's been such a long and painful journey for all of them. I can't imagine the frustration Elmer must have felt over those five years, continuously checking in with the detective and wanting answers that just weren't coming. It's wonderful to hear they finally made an arrest, but the waiting must still be so hard, knowing it's not fully over yet. I'm hopeful, like Elmer seems to be, that the legal process will finally bring the justice Ronnie and his family deserve. It's truly inspiring to see how Elmer holds onto his faith through such a difficult time. This community deserves some peace, and I hope they get it soon. Anyone else following this case?
It's been years since Ronnie Green's tragic passing, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his brother Elmer. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they've endured since that awful day in Blytheville. Something that's been on my mind is the community's reaction at the time of the murder. Delmar and Davis Street, where Ronnie was attacked, isn't just any corner; it's a place where people pass by daily. How did this go unnoticed for so long? Was there anyone who might have seen or heard something? I’ve read that sometimes small details can lead to breakthroughs in cold cases.
With the arrest made in 2019, I wonder if there were tip-offs from the local community or if it was purely new evidence that led to this development. Either way, I hope this brings some peace to his family and the community. The long wait for justice must have been unbearable, but hopefully, with the legal process finally moving forward, they will get the answers they've been seeking. Staying hopeful for Elmer and everyone who cared for Ronnie.
