I’ve been thinking a lot about the role Britanny Gosney's mental health might have played in this tragic case. It's unsettling to consider how she reached such a point that she felt abandoning her kids was a viable option. While this doesn’t excuse her actions, it makes me wonder what signs were missed by family, friends, or even neighbors. What could have been done earlier to provide some support or intervention? It's deeply troubling how often mental health issues can bubble under the surface, unnoticed by those around us, until they explode into something horrific. It just makes me question whether we, as a community, often miss these red flags and what we might do to prevent something like this from happening in the future. Thoughts?
