Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Damon Kirk Wilkins, and it's been weighing on my mind how his fiancée's children must be coping with all of this. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they experienced witnessing such a violent act. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process what happened, and my heart truly goes out to them and their family.
I was reading up on how children who witness violence often deal with long-term effects, like anxiety or struggle with feeling safe. I really hope they have access to the support and resources they need to heal from this horrible experience.
If anyone has updates on how the family is doing or knows of organizations that help children through trauma, please share. I think it would be important for this community to understand more about the impacts on young witnesses in cases like these.

Just came across this case and what's been on my mind is the impact on those kids who witnessed the entire tragedy unfold. It’s hard to imagine how deeply affected they must be after seeing such violence. I read that Damon's fiancée's children were literally there when everything happened. Witnessing the loss of a loved one in such a horrific way... it’s just unimaginable.
I really hope they’ve been able to access support to help them deal with this trauma. Moving back to North Little Rock could be a fresh start for them, but I hope they’ve also been able to find some form of peace and healing. It’s often overlooked, but the ripple effects of these crimes go far beyond just the immediate victim and perpetrator. Sending thoughts to Damon's family and especially those kids as they navigate life after such a devastating event.
Has anyone looked into the potential second suspect from Damon's case? It's been years now, and it doesn't seem like any new leads have come up about the individual who fled in the grey Cadillac. It makes me wonder if they're still out there, and how that impacts Damon’s family, knowing someone involved hasn't been brought to justice. I can't imagine the ongoing stress and lack of closure this must cause for his loved ones. Does anyone in the Little Rock area have any insight into whether the investigation is still active or if the police have provided updates over the years? It just feels like there’s still a piece of the puzzle missing here.
