Has anyone else been wondering about the car involved in Edward and Edwin's case? I can't stop thinking about it. I read somewhere that witnesses said it was a dark-colored sedan, but there aren't many details beyond that. It's so frustrating, especially considering how popular the area can be, even in the early hours. I feel like someone must've seen something more. I hope the authorities have some traffic cam footage or maybe a helpful tip from the community. It breaks my heart for their family having to endure this uncertainty on top of their loss. I hope some new leads come soon so they can find some peace. It's such a painful reminder of how this violence just keeps happening in Chicago. If anyone hears anything more about the investigation, please share!
I've been reading about Edward Bryant and what happened to him and his brother, Edwin, and it's just so deeply upsetting. I can't stop thinking about the impact this has on their family and friends. It troubles me to see how violence can starkly disrupt the lives of young people with so much potential. Edward seemed like a wonderful young man, involved in sports and beloved by his community. The idea that he was just standing there with his brother, probably just chatting or laughing, and everything changed in a flash is so difficult to comprehend. As someone who follows these cases hoping for change, I really hope this leads to concrete actions to tackle gun violence in Chicago. The community, and especially students like Edward and Edwin, deserve better. My thoughts are with the Bryant family. They’ve suffered an unimaginable loss that no one should have to endure.
