I haven’t seen anyone mention the weather conditions on 3/12/21. Sedona can be unpredictable in March, with temps dropping quickly once the sun goes down. Was Eli well-prepared with gear for any sudden changes? If he wasn't expecting it to get too cold, maybe he didn't pack enough for warmth or overnight shelter. It’s concerning because it could have caught him off guard in the wilderness, especially without consistent cell reception in that area. I’m hoping searchers took the weather pattern into account and checked sheltered areas where he might have taken cover. Anyone know more about how prepared he was for the environment?
Has anyone else been hiking around Soldier's Pass recently? I heard about Eli's case and it's been on my mind. That area can be tricky, with all the side trails and hidden spots. I wonder if Eli could've gotten disoriented or injured. It's such a beautiful but vast area. I hope they've coordinated with local hiking groups and guides who know the terrain well—maybe someone saw or heard something they didn't realize at the time. Keeping Eli's family in my thoughts. Anyone else with hiking experience in that region have insights?
Hey everyone, I recently came across the case of Eli, who went missing after being dropped off near Soldier's Pass in Sedona for a Vision Quest back in March 2021. Something that's been puzzling me about this is the weather conditions around that time. Does anyone know if there were any significant weather events in Sedona around March 12, 2021? I'm wondering if a sudden storm or temperature drop could have contributed to his disappearance. Any local experts or others who might have insight into the area's weather patterns for that time? It seems like any additional environmental factors might be crucial in piecing together what happened. Thanks!
