I’ve been thinking a lot about the timeline and location of this tragic event. Eric Cherry was found on Almetta Drive at 3 p.m., which makes me wonder if this was a planned encounter or something that escalated quickly. Almetta Drive doesn’t seem like a secluded area, so could there be witnesses who saw something before or after the shooting? I truly hope law enforcement has looked into whether anyone in the neighborhood observed something unusual that day. It's haunting to think about what Eric must have gone through and the impact this has had on his loved ones. My thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone has more insight into this aspect of the case or knows about other instances of violence in that area, it would be helpful to discuss.
