I’ve been following Curry Bolton’s case since it happened, and it never gets any easier to think about the loss his family must endure daily. I recently came across an interview with his mother, Ruth Smith, from last year, and it was a poignant reminder of how enduring the pain is for those left behind. Even after all these years, it feels like the wound is still fresh every time there's a small development (or lack thereof) in the case. It’s incredibly disheartening that despite having two persons of interest, there hasn't been much headway towards justice. It makes you wonder what pieces of the puzzle are still missing for law enforcement to make an arrest. For the locals, it’s apparently been a struggle too, living under the shadow of uncertainty. The fact that his murder might have been committed by someone familiar to the community is a chilling thought. I hope the Union County Sheriff's Office keeps the pressure on in their investigation and locals remain as vigilant as ever in the hopes of protecting such a tight-knit community. Sending strength to Ruth and the rest of Curry's family. I can’t imagine living with such a hole in their lives and just wanting answers after so long. Let’s all keep them in our thoughts and do what we can to help find the truth. Anyone with even the smallest bit of information should come forward; it might just be the key to bringing peace and justice to them.

I've been following the Curry Bolton case for a while and can't help but think about the emotional toll this must be taking on his family, especially his mom, Ruth. I read a quote from her recently, and her words really hit home. Losing a child is unimaginable, and it’s painful to see how she still clings to hope amidst such a devastating reality. Every day this case remains unsolved seems like a cruel extension of their heartbreak. It’s frustrating that the investigation hasn’t seen any breakthroughs, even with two persons of interest. This makes me wonder what more can be done to encourage people to come forward with information. Maybe the community can help by keeping the conversation alive or possibly finding new ways to support the family. Have there been any recent efforts or events organized in Strong to rally support and keep awareness up? To anyone who’s been hesitant to speak up: imagine if this were your family. Ruth and her loved ones deserve a chance at closure and peace. If you know something, please consider the impact of your silence versus the relief your information could bring.
